David began self-defense/martial arts training in Kenpo Karate in 1980.

David studied kickboxing, judo, T'Ai Chi, and defensive shooting.


David is a certified instructor in the disciplines below.
Currently, he is ranked as a fifth-degree black belt and holds the titles of, Guro- Teacher of the revered Filipino Martial Arts, Sensei- Teacher of Japanese Aikido, Instructor- teacher of handgun and rifle, and
 Senior Kru- Teacher of Muay Thai.


David's specialty is Self-Defense and Filipino Martial Arts (instructor's certificate is advanced).

David is continuously studying, training, and teaching to assure his students of the highest quality of instruction and training.

Past students have included individuals, corporations, law-enforcement, and fellow martial artists.

Over the last thirty years, David has accomplished an impressive body of work. He pioneered most of the pistol licensing courses taught in the community education programs of at least fifteen local districts.

He pioneered the first and only international martial arts radio talk show in Buffalo, interviewing some of the legends of martial arts.

Sole local competitor in the first international, full contact, stick-fighting tournament.

Was the defensive tactics instructor for the Erie County Probation Dept. for four years.

Was an adjunct professor at Erie Community College (ECC), teaching self-defense for college credit to  ECC students.

Has been a commercial self-defense/martial arts business since 1987.

Approximately three-thousand students have studied and
 trained at ADA.
Jeffrey DiAngelo, in the pink Thai shorts, began his martial arts training as a wrestler in 1991.

He studied Tae Kwon Do and Kenpo karate. Jeff earned his black belt in Kenpo karate as a college student.

Jeff is currently ranked as second degree black belt through ADA. He holds the tile of Junior Kru- trainer of muay thai, Instructor- teacher of submission wrestling, and Full Instructor- Teacher of the ADA program.

Jeff has been with ADA since 2002 and heads up the competition division of ADA. Jeff is an amateur competitor in both amateur Muay Thai and no gi grappling.

Jeff has produced Muay Thai and grappling medalists since 2007.
